Some weddings are grand, extravagant affairs with hundreds of guests, while others are beautifully intimate, filled with only the closest family and friends. This winter wedding in Oklahoma City was the latter—small, meaningful, and full of warmth, even on a chilly day.
I first connected with the bride a few years ago on Instagram, and it was such a joy to see her vision come to life. She and her groom chose The Springs Event Venue in Edmond for their ceremony, a stunning space that felt both elegant and inviting. The rustic charm of the venue paired perfectly with the cozy winter aesthetic. After saying "I do," the celebration continued at Tellers Restaurant, where their intimate reception brought everyone together over incredible food and heartfelt toasts.
Winter weddings have a special kind of magic. The crisp air, the cozy indoor spaces, and the romantic, candlelit atmosphere make everything feel even more personal. Despite the cold, this day was filled with warmth—from the couple's love to the laughter shared among their guests.
As a wedding photographer based in Joplin, Springfield, and St. Louis, Missouri, I love capturing weddings in all seasons, and this one was truly special. Whether you’re planning a large celebration or a small, intimate gathering, your wedding day deserves to be documented in a way that brings your love story to life.
